Hey Adults! We believe that God called up the people called Methodists to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Relational Discipleship occurs in worship, service and through small groups. Our hope and prayer is for all adults to connect with a small group, develop friendships, and grow in God's grace alongside your brothers and sisters in Christ. We have several long-term small groups as well as short term bible studies. Plus, we have several events throughout the year for Christian fellowship and hospitality. It is easy to connect with all these opportunities!
Sunday Morning Small Groups (9:50 to 10:45)
The G.I.F.T. Class (growing in faith together) meets in Room 6 and through Bible study and healthy discussions encourages each other in a shared journey of faith. This small adult group is always open to new members, both couples and singles.
The Explorers meet in Room 8 and is a small group for singles and couples interested in exploring the Bible through the Wesleyan lens of faith. Join this group for Christian spiritual, historical, philosophical, Biblical discussions in a supportive and open environment.
Senior Sunday School class for senior adults meets in the Heritage Room, Room 10 and follows the Cokesbury Adult Bible Study curriculum. All are welcome!
Additional Small Groups
United Methodist Women (UMW), meet the 2nd Sunday of every month after the 11 worship service for lunch, prayer and fellowship. The UMW is a mission driven small group.
United Methodist Men (UMM) meet the monthly for breakfast, prayer and fellowship. They raise funds each year for the UMM scholarship fund.
Men's Bible Study meets in the church Annex from 7:30-9:00 each Wednesday night. This year, they are reading through the entire bible. But, you can always jump into the conversation.
Short Term Bible Studies
Disciple Bible Study: This 24-week bible study runs from September through March/April and is lead by Pastor Jim.
Women's Bible Study: women meet at church in Room 2 on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00 during the fall, winter and spring. Childcare is available. This group typically follows a short term book study, takes a few weeks off and then begins another study.
