Backpack Buddies is an ongoing mission of HSUMC’s All Hands In Ministry in partnership with Oakview Elementary School to provide food for children who would otherwise go hungry on the weekends. Last school year we filled 12-25 backpacks every week, and we anticipate at least that much or more for the 2023-24 school year.
How you can help:
Purple collection bins will remain located by the water fountain in the CLC where food donations can be dropped off at any time. Monetary donations can also be made through the church with “Backpack Buddies” on the memo line.
