Pastor
The Reverend Anita Taylor is an Ordained Elder in full connection with The North Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church. She has her Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from Virginia Tech. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, loving on her fur babies, doing DIY projects and dipping her toes in the ocean. She experiences the joy of living into God's calling on her life with those at Holly Springs UMC and beyond.
Director of Youth and Children's Ministry
Kathy directs our children and youth ministries. She loves seeing our children grow in their love of Jesus and our youth grow in discipleship. She enjoys being outside at the beach, the pool or hiking with her family and their dog Daisy.
Church Administrator/Financial Secretary
Jil is likely the first person you will meet in our office and the voice you will hear over the phone. She schedules all church activities, sends out our official communications and serves as our financial secretary. Yes, she loves details! Jil enjoys Yoga/Thai Chi exercising, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

Adam Capps
Contemporary Worship Praise Team Leader
Adam coordinates the music and leads the Praise Team for the church's blended worship service. Adam enjoys working with the band students at Holly Grove Middle School, teaching private music lessons, playing music with friends and spending time with family. In addition, Adam is a big UNC fan and enjoys watching games with friends and family. Go Heels!
Ian Kayser
"Ian is based locally in Holly Springs and loves finding ways to contribute to the community. Whether it's setting up events at the Cultural Center, helping to organize outdoor activities at Womble Park, or playing piano at Holly Springs UMC, you'll find Ian all over town. He enjoys teaching music lessons, tuning pianos, art, books, and all things creative, hoping to encourage others towards celebrating these gifts to the glory of God."

Theia is a part of our loving nursery team who cares for our infants and toddlers every Sunday.
Kalyn Oltrogge
Kayln is a dedicated member of the nursery team at HSUMC, where she loves caring for the children each week and watching them grow. She is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where children can feel loved and supported. Kalyn is a senior at Holly Springs High School and plans to pursue a career in biomedical engineering. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the church community and bring joy to the little ones each week
Others Who Make a Difference at HSUMC
Sound/AV coordinator
George coordinates the sound and AV ministry. In addition, George helps with the church IT needs. He enjoys flying drones and photography in his free time, as well as learning and experimenting with new and emerging technologies.
